​​Baronial Activities

Welcome to the modern middle ages!  There are several levels of participation in SCA activities. At the local level, in the Barony of Windhaven, regular administrative (business) meetings are held monthly. Several “moots” are also held, usually having specific “themes”. Larger events will focus on a theme such as a Feast of Fools, Tournament of Chivalry, Twelfth Night, Fighter School, Bardic Madness, Arts and Sciences Faires. Most will include a fabulous feast in medieval style comprised of several removes (courses), each comprising of multiple dishes. 

During the summer months, many of these events are multi-day camping events. These events can really help bring the medieval feeling…the tournaments, campfires, singing, musicians, drumming, period pavillions, classes…all help in making you feel like you really are in a medieval encampment
